Yellowfin, Bluefin, and White Marlin Releases! 6/22/26

“Inconclusive”
“Christine Marie”
“Shotski”
“C-Boys”

We had a great Father’s Day weekend of fishing! The yellowfin seem to be slowly inching closer, although most of the fleet had to go over 100 miles to find them. “Christine Marie” came back from a long trip offshore, about 130 miles out, which paid off with 18 yellowfin. “Second Wind” had 4 yellowfin, “Inconclusive” had 8 yellowfin, and “Boss Hogg” had 6 yellowfin. “Shotski” and “Boss Hogg” each had a white release! It’s exciting to see some marlin flags flying coming back into the marina. The bluefin bite is still out there. “C-Boys”, “Marli”, and “Pumpin Hard” all came back with some bluefin over the weekend.    It’s starting to feel like summer around here!

It was another successful weekend at Sunset Marina. We have some boats fishing early this week, and then we are gearing up for another full weekend of fishing!
